About the project
In 2015, at the request of Auno Calibration Laboratory (Costa Rica), we developed a web application to control instrument intake through work orders and manage traceability throughout the entire calibration process.
Over time, the system has been improved to make it more efficient and integrate new capabilities, including electronic invoicing with Costa Rica's Ministry of Finance, and connections with platforms related to the laboratory's operational workflow.
Main Modules
- • Instrument intake (WO) with client and equipment data.
- • Traceability by stages: intake → evaluation → calibration → validation → delivery.
- • Checklists, attachments, and non-conformance logging (when applicable).
- • Calibration certificate issuance and version control.
- • Reports and analytics: time per stage, workload, deliveries.
- • Customer portal for tracking and document downloads.
- • Integrations: electronic invoicing (CR) and connections to internal platforms.
What it solves
- • Full visibility of the status of each instrument and its history.
- • Fewer manual tasks and reduced cycle time per order.
- • Organized documentation accessible to team and clients.
- • Compliance and traceability for audits and quality control.
