Fingerprint reader
Identifies in 0.3 seconds and keeps recording even when the internet drops.
Fingerprint, phone or browser: three ways to clock in, one live log. From those punches it computes lateness, overtime, holidays and vacation under Costa Rican law, and builds the monthly pre-payroll.
Almost every growing company goes through the same thing: a notebook at the door, a spreadsheet someone fills in at month end, or a punch clock that keeps the fingerprints inside and takes everything with it the day it breaks. Asistara brings the three ways of clocking in — fingerprint for the floor, a GPS-and-photo app for remote and field work, the browser for the office — into a single board that updates live. And because overtime, holidays and vacation already ship with Costa Rican labour law built in, payroll stops being a monthly archaeology exercise.

Why this one
If a device breaks or is stolen, everything restores to another one in a click. On a traditional clock it was simply lost.
The server sets the time, not the phone, and spoofed locations are flagged as such.
US$2 per active person per month, from a single person. Everything included, no fine print.
The evolution
Fingerprint reader, Android app, web punch, Costa Rican payroll and service billing.
The iPhone app, with the same GPS and the same evidence as the Android one.
Payroll rules for other countries in the region, on the same log.
Frequently asked
US$2 per active person per month plus VAT, with no employee minimum and no separately billed modules. The physical fingerprint reader is US$65 plus VAT per device, one payment. There is also a 14-day trial with everything included and no card.
App and browser punching do, across Latin America, and the system already runs with teams in more than one country. The physical fingerprint reader is sold and installed in Costa Rica only for now.
The data does not live inside the device: if it breaks, the fingerprints restore to another one in a click. Punches show on the admin screen instantly, remote work is covered with GPS and photo, and Costa Rican overtime and holiday payroll computes itself.
That was the first thing we solved. The server always sets the time, so changing the phone clock achieves nothing, and spoofed locations are detected and flagged on the punch.
Biometrics never leave the device and photos are purged automatically, in line with Costa Rica's Law 8968 on data protection.
